Welcome to Goswami Packers And Logistic. These Terms and Conditions govern the contract and operational agreements between our company and customers utilizing our packing, moving, storage, or vehicle transportation services across India.
Bookings are confirmed upon mutual agreement on the estimated inventory list, moving dates, and price quotations. Any subsequent addition of goods or extra services requested on moving day will incur proportional supplementary charges.
Our professional crew brings specialized packing materials tailored for fragile and heavy goods. Customers are advised to supervise the packing process and inspect inventory check sheets prior to vehicle dispatch.
Customers must ensure personal valuables (cash, jewelry, legal deeds, laptops) are handled individually. Customers are also responsible for securing elevator permissions and parking access at both origin and destination points.
Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the scheduled packing time receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of dispatch may incur a nominal mobilization fee to cover vehicle allocation costs.
We strongly recommend opting for transit insurance for intercity and long-distance moves. Insurance covers loss or damage caused by accidents, fire, or overturning during transit, subject to policy terms and declared item values.
Payments must be settled according to agreed milestones — typically a token advance upon booking, partial payment upon loading, and the remaining balance upon final delivery before offloading completion.
While our team exercises maximum care, our liability for non-insured shipments is limited to direct structural damage caused by proven crew negligence. Claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
For safety and legal compliance, we strictly prohibit the transport of hazardous chemicals, explosive materials, illegal drugs, firearms, perishable foods, or contraband goods inside our transport vehicles.
Estimated delivery schedules for intercity relocations are provided in good faith. Unforeseen delays caused by severe weather, national highway blockages, or regional transport strikes are beyond our operational control.
